"The Shelf" Giveaway (Closed)

Wouldn't it be amazing if there was a site that would watch prices for me? I would tell the site what items I want... and then tell them a price I was willing to pay... and have them watch these items on my behalf. Shelf does just that!! 

With Shelf, you can bookmark items you like and want to keep track of. They are filterable by store or category. Next you can specifically view each item in a detailed panel to see quick stats: current price, amount of savings, promo codes required for the savings, and a historical price tracking chart. For each item you can set up a price alert at the price you are willing to pay. And then, voila! You've got yourself the perfect system of shopping, shelfing, sharing, and saving!

  5. Shelf is a dream come true! I love being able to track all of my wish lists from all of my favorite stores on one website! I know the site is still in a beta version, but my only suggestion for the site is to include more stores! Everything from your Shelf is so cute, but if I had to choose one I would probably pick the J.Crew Factory skinny jeans.

  13. The site is very easy to navigate especially once you watch the tutorial videos. It is a great way to keep all your "want" items in one place without having to check each and every website over and over every day. I think this site will definitely be successful.

  21. I love the benefit of the dot top paired with musee rodin skirt (both from Modcloth). I think it's a great site so far. My suggestion is when you go back to the inspiration screen, for the screen to be able to see where you left off. It always lead me right back to the top and I had to scroll down to find where I left off. :)

I noticed that Shelf is not currently compatible with Internet Explorer, but I think they are working on that. I would choose the mint J. Crew skinnies (I love mint as the spring months approach). The only thing I would suggest (which it seems that they are working on) is getting set up with Explorer. That is what I tend you use most often and would definitely use the site more frequently if they did!

I also tried to shelve a few items and it said the particular store wasn't supported yet so that was a bummer. But overall, I love the concept. It said that it doesn't support Interet Explorer which is kind of a big deal and bummer. I also found it hard to look up items or search certain stores. One improvement I'd like to see is when clicking on an item, it would be helpful to see the full product description/details without having to click on a second link (the "View Item at Store" link).
