Capri is finally on the up & up! She had a cold for a few days and then got the flu. Let's just say we have all been exhausted this week! One thing I did love about being couped up inside was reading to this peanut. She loves, loves, LOVES books and having me read to her. I love this time with Capri, she grabs her blanky, sits on my lap, and cuddles up to me. It's heaven, even when she's sick. What are some of your favorite children's books?

Aww. It's so cute when they cuddle up or just help themselves to sitting in your lap. Layla does it too. Even if I sit on the floor about to stretch, she thinks it's an open invitation to come sit in my lap lol.

Love your leggings where did you get them?
ReplyDeleteMy little boy is obsessed with Two Hungry Bears by Linda Cornwell. He loves to sit in my lap, wrapped up in his towel after bath time and read books. The books may change over time but this little ritual of ours is one that I always look forward to.
ReplyDeleteOlivia is a wonderful book! :) I also love Elmer, Charlie the chicken, The story of the little mole who knew it was none of his business, another called "Rosa Caramelo" in spanish... I love kids books :)
